Mortisha my little butterscotch bellied raccoon kitty passed away yesterday while I was at work. She was 14 years old. She is survived by her Mom & Dad, brother Gomez, step-brother Doodle, step-sister Ninja and step-brother f00. May she find happiness and peace. Her love, chatter, cuddles and warm fuzziness will be missed.

There has also been a demand for us to do a few batches with dry hopping. We’ll have to see what happens with that. I had some great brews from Victory Brewing, so I’m not at all opposed to the thought. I really enjoyed the Hop Wallop and Storm King. I’ll be trying to find…

On another note, YouTube is another great reference. My favorite so far has been learning about All Grain Brewing from Chris Knight. Currently I’m doing a mini-mash/dry…

Well things have been interesting on the brewing front. We moved our second batch to a secondary fermenter Wednesday. Everything was going well, but apparently there was a failure to take into account the possibility that aeration via the funnel and all that might cause a new burst of fermentation. We ended up with a…

As you may or may not know, I love Mexican food! I try to go out to different restaurants and try as many different things as I can. Though lately I’ve been having trouble deciding what to try. But that’s a different story. The latest place we’ve gone was Fiesta Charra in DeWitt. The atmosphere…
